i've never cared much about my funeral so i've told my wife that i want to be where she will be: she wants to be cremated and sprinkled from her brother's boat over the ocean at the reefs at pennekamp off key largo where she grew up. so i guess i'll have the same so that i'll be right there with her. my biggest fear: i'll be sprinkled to a soundtrack of - gasp! - jimmy buffett music! arrrrggghhh!
Refuse to have a funeral at one of those parlors, so cliche and ordinary. Rather have a celebration of life type gig at a lively place..possibly a beach?
Songs:
I Love Rock N' Roll
(J. Hooker/A. Merrill)
Dashboard
(Modest Mouse)
Hips don't lie
(Shakira)
and others of that nature most likely..
Philosophy:
You come into this world with celebration, why not leave with it?
Music For Your Funeral
i don't want a funeral myself, but if i were to have one i'd want it to bea non-stop party!
manu chao playing a live set would be dope!
or a new orleans-style funeral would be cool.
Sun Kil Moon - Carry Me Ohio
can we select an appropriate R.I.P. mdler song??? :)

whoever suggested jitterbug by wham, that made me laugh out loud at my computer like an idiot
i used to think it would be piano concerto by mozart back when i was obsessed with the piano concertos
but now i think no music would be best
i can't say i'd be totally against a libeskind casket if i didin't want to be cremated
or how about one designed by michael graves har har
Stub - Mr. Bungle
Little Pig - Green Jelly
Amish Paradise - Wierd Al
Atmosphere by Joy Divison
Hurt by Johnny Cash
Real Love by David Gray
summary of lyrics
The dawn in all its honesty, Is turning me to clay
...
And something in the heart of me
Is telling me it's time
To meet the eye of destiny
And leave it all behind
