i napped through part of this movie, but was awake to see brad pitt name-drop a bunch of architects for the design of the (cg) hotel/casino...if i remember correctly, it was meier, gehry and gwathmey...what a combo!
That last post was priceless. But, I was actually kind of interested in the fact that they kept showing these long contemplative shots of the hotel in Ocean's 13. It was obvious that some architect had to be involved, albeit in a kind of cynical way (and yet a play on popular design at the same time). I am just curious who it was...
Well, Mr. Pitt and Mr. Clooney were investors in a failed high end condo development in Vegas. Not a bad project from the renderings I saw a couple years back. Sooo, they like architecture?
This thing is too quirky and interesting, someone with at least a background and a bit of training in architecture designed this building, who was it? Fess up!
probably just some concept designer somewhere...then further processing done by ex-architects now working post production/vfx :-)
plenty of those around.
Ocean's 13
So... do you think designed "the Bank" hotel for Ocean's 13?
i wouldnt waste a dime to see this if its at all like ocean's 12. gag me.

I love Oceans...but I'm a rat pack fan, and these folks seem like the natural progression to Sammy and Frank
11 tops 12, but 12 was still awesome. i can't wait to see 13.
I thought the Julia Roberts thing in Oceans 12 was a clever twist.... Didn't stop the movie from sucking, though.
13 was better than 12 for sure...I cant stand Julia R.
They lost me after the first one, they break into an architects office at night and no one is there? Totally implausible.

when julia roberts and bruce willis played julia roberts and bruce willis in altman's 'the player' is was alright...
at least Julia Roberts wasn't in oceans13 and I didn't pay when I watched oceans13.
julia can act rings around brad and georgio.
FOG first its supposed to be an engineers office (sadly I checked) - hence no one was up (insert slag on engineers here)
Its sad to see the demise of the Vegas boulevard planned by Clooney
please fellas do anybody know what were the 13-statues that were in banks-office
those were fantastic....they were set up like a game of chess.....
actually Ocean 13 Hotel's design is quite nice!
Who did
It even makes look Ocean 12 (or 11) hotel like shit.
Bank's has style!
But the diamonds right under the helipad...a bit too much.
*bump*
Alright, I'm late, I just saw this movie.
