On days (like today) when I get a lot of work done and feel that sense of accomplishment and skill, my job totally rules.
On the days when I f*ck around on archinect all day and suddenly it's 4 in the afternoon, my job (and the flexibility of self-employment) completely sucks.
just got the dual monitor upgrade... oh yeah... archinect on one screen.. revit on the other... doin design schemes for two of the best projects in the office... oh yeah...
Self employment is fantastic, its closer to play than it is work. But some days if I sleep in a bit or don't get anything done or its slow I'll start to feel like a deadbeat...

Seriously, it does. I can't believe I don't hate working 50+ hours a week. Love it.

actually my job rules even more as i just remembered i have a small metal rule from edgewood building suppy! it's gold and made of metal.
In that case, I have an architect's rule, an engineer's rule, a 16" business forms rule w/ file hole locations, and a 1 yard wooden rule.
