i think it would be rather odd/low chances for a site like grad cafe, in a situation like that where the whole point is to alert people to the date sof acceptances for school and then...get it wrong.

..and not to be a negative in anyway...but it is good to rememebr how many applicants we are talking abotu here...9% of 500 applicants is something like 45 ppl.

My theory is that we see 10% on Archinect....so thats about 5 or 6 folks that speak up with acceptances...

bris, its not that they "got it wrong"... just saying that its possible (actaully, likley) that who ever that was posting at 12-1am ish got the call earlier that day, as opposed to, say, midnight.

eh, It could go either way... im just basing this all on the fact that last year yale notified acceptances in one day. who knows, they could've switched it up this year. most likely not. not being negative or positive. just facts. and FF33's logic makes sense too

has anyone heard anything from virginia tech yet? they sent me an email 3 weeks ago saying that i'd hear from them in 2-4 weeks, so i'm starting to freak out.........

i have another idea.....how about calling Yale admissions and saying you got a call from a Robert Stern saying you were accepted but are calling to confirm that it was real.

then when they look you up, they'll tell u if you're accepted or that it was a horrible mistake on their part.

yeah, I guess you are right. I applied to Oregon but there was mix up , and it never was processed. My story is that I live close to CU Denver, and can pretty much go there at any time. ..but I am not into the mediocrity of the school, so i have been in limbo for a couple years. I am freelance now, and need to get licnesed badly....I figure I am worth a better education is all....I think it must me my GRE and GPA that are holding me up...maybe I shoudl have studied. hahah..I was too busy working.
