We are using Kickstarter to fund research for a book on what we term the hyper-localization of sustainable architecture. [ours] is written by Andrew Michler, me, and published by eVolo who you may know from the skyscraper competition. We are working with the Institute for the Built Environment at Colorado State University in developing a research tool, pay for interns and travel cost to study how the the new contemporary sustainable architecture is really about cultural and environmentally sensitive design which re-imagine a sense of place. Information which practices can take the findings to their region to help develop new design archetypes.
