Any suggestions for places/bldgs of interest in Budapest?

besides the usual stuff (buda castles, palaces, etc., the bridges, and the pest side parliament building, opera house, etc.) i would recommend checking out the erik van eggeraat building near Heroes' Square and see what's going on with the Corvin Promenade in the Josefvaros district - it has been a site of intense scrutiny and numerous proposals from various famous architects and a studio at GSD. Could be in the process of demo yet, but interesting story

Curious Walldrug, your not from South Dakota are you. If you are then I hope your carrying a sign to Budapest so you can post it:

Actually If your headed to Hungry, I would suggest you try to find out as much as you can about "Imre Macovecz" A starting point is a book about his works by the American Architect Jeffry Ross Cook.
