grant money is usually awarded through the school based on portfolio and cv, and you don't get any offer until after you go through the application process, and get accepted (unless you have something worked out through the school). that is for merit based grants.

need based grants are also issued through the school, but you basically have to be unemployed with debt up the wazoo to be elligible.

the only option left is through private loans and scholarships.

i got accepted already but it's a private college....cranbrook.... and i should know this week if my finacial aid works out..... but since it's a small private college, i'm sure there really isn't much cash to toss around.....

just looking for backup plans......
