I'm sure a lot of people on this forum are going to scream "sellout" or "Gehry sucks", but I'm of the opinion that anything that gets architecture and design out and in the public eye is a good thing.

Yeah, I don't like Gehry's architecture all that much. It's fascinating to look at, but the effect is starting to wear off. Plus I think his material choices can be irresponsible at times. But you gotta hand it to him, he's a celebrity...and an architect. Architecture needs some exposure.
I won't spoil it for anybody who has not seen it but Geldof makes a very funny remark about architects that makes this film worth seeing regardless if you like Gehry or not.
I'm not a Gehry fan myself but the film is worth seeing. It’s actually quite funny. Sydney Pollack did a good job and he even devotes part of the film to the criticism people have of Gehry. Hal Foster is interviewed and makes a very good case on behalf of people like me who are not big fans of his work.
Overall I would recommend seeing it even if you’re not a fan of Gehry.
well frank did say " if it doesnt work in plan on paper the model no matter how beautiful it is it wont work" that isnt esactely what he said but the gist.
