Steven, the first Bryan Adams release had an almost punk edge to it - no not punky like Punky Brewster!

Foreigner's big finale was a huge inflatable cartoon jukebox that burst forth at the end of the last chorus of Jukebox Hero - even the 14-year-old liberty bell knew that it was cheesy.

On a related (80s) note, I may put some Duran Duran on my summer mix. lletdownl, be forewarned!

lletdownl, I just emailed you. You may be relieved or disappointed to hear that the CD I made does not include DuranDuran's Rio. It really has a summery sound for me, but the rest of the CD skewed heavily toward the driving part of the theme, so it didn't make the cut. Though it is a fun song to drive to, in summer.
