Yes, I've graduated with B.Arts in Architecture in 2005. Not doing prisons, but doing high-rises (don't really see the the difference between the two haha!)
ive worked for architects since the summer after my first year(im finishing up thesis now)...i worked my way up to $16/hour, ive worked in both CT(when i went home for summers and winters) and long island, NY(when im at school and now after).....started off solely as a draftsman/office bitch hehe....now im kinda a senior draftsman, designer, project manager....its a very small office, so i kinda take part in everything
yeah.. i suppose i've made better money subcontracting myself as a draftsman then my first real job offer, but it's stable income. i guess the drop in salary (vs. tacobell) is the location - city vs rural, not sure which position i'd rather be in

what kind of job offers have you received? (position/area/salary(or hourly)/benifits)
me: 1st yr intern/CO/$14-16 an hr/health.401.skipass!
junior architect/CA/med/dental/401/$43k/yr

yeah 40,000-45,000 would be sweeeeet....John Reilly just aint cuttin me that kind of money.....gonna have to drop his ass shortly after school
