Help me find a font!

Living in Gin

Overall, I made a smooth transition from my old computer to my new one, but I knew there had to be one hitch. I lost a font. Not just any font, but the font I'm using throughout my entire new portfolio (both hard copy and PDF versions).

It's a Windows TrueType font, and it's called Eurostile.

Fonts.com only had it as a PostScript font, which AutoCAD can't read. They also had a TrueType version, but it didn't include bold or itallic text.

Don't ask me how that font ended up on my old computer to begin with... I thought I had it on a CD-ROM, but that turned out not to be the case. And of course, I've already re-formatted the hard drive on my old computer in preparation for selling it.

Does anybody have a copy of this font? Or if not, is there another font (preferably free) out there that has a similar look?

Thanks...

Well, it turns out that I did, in fact, back up that font file from the old computer. Don't I feel like a jackass.

my friend is looking for a font called "graphic light". she is a painter and since i am an architect, she asked me about it.
graphic light is the one that looks like architectural lettering. kind of like city blueprint but more architectural pencil lettering like.
thanks in advance...i use arial for everything!

This is graphic light. It does not match your description though.

There is another called Accent Graphic Light but I don't think this is it either.

k. just wanted to check Orhan.

Construction is moving slowly. Too damn slow. Went to look at some steel on Friday. The plant was damn cool. We bought two 5'x10' 3/16" sheets. these will be cut down to 26" high pieces and be used in the conference area to display work for presentations and crits. Lights are taking 4-6 weeks to deliver. We hope to be in the space in a few weeks. I will post some updated photos soon.
