As far as solutions, or what other people have done... at the last place I worked we had a fairly heavy card stock with our logo deeply debossed (opposite of embossed) on the front, so it had some texture to it and sort of gave a shadow. The info was printed in a medium gray or pantone silver, and the back was just a flood of orange.
