My ideal job would be to meet new people and have a good time, and get paid for it. I've been told that I should be a cruise director, does that mean they meet a lot of people? Dunno, I think I would get bored pretty quickly.

First you've gotta come up with a computer program that will "rip this place of big-time." Then after you learn you were stealing whole cents, instead of parts of cents - you know, like the ones for the blind kids - cash out that account. After that burn down the office and move to some Caribbean island and make sure there is "no salt on the margarita glass."

I just graduated with a B. Arch, and I'm trying to figure out the same thing. There are a lot of entry level jobs out there, detailing plumbing fixtures on suburban home additions, but I figured, I don't want to sell my soul just yet.

I'm working on some competitions, applying for travelling fellowships, looking at grad schools, and occasionally, applying for work at a worthy firm.

If all else fails, I can join the circus.

And, if you're good at it, it's a really great job to have.

Friend of mine is a professional video game player. Now he designs games and gets a % of the profit. Nice deal.

Other friend is now driving trucks for some oil company. He starts at $40k, 2 weeks on 2 weeks off, and in 2 years will make $125+k.
Crazy.

truck driving is cool, but it kills you..well for some time though

a friend took an year off school to drive fedex trucks cross-country, made about 40K, saved on rent (he essentially lived on the truck, which sucks, but used to crash in friend's places over weekends)...but the best thing he did, according to him is that, in this process he visisted places in america, really far-thrown, obscure places that he'd never visit otherwise. He also visited Canada and Mexico on 'work' purposes....

Right about now I would love a truck driving job. Working in a non-professional environment with a broken leg sucks. It sucks in many ways. But mostly it sucks financially.
