i was reading through the post "best place to live in the US" and there are a bunch of reasons pleople wouldn't recommend LA, and there's a list of interesting places to live,
I just thought there could be opinions considering the 3D industry, i hear 3d artists should target contractors and real state, rather than architects because the former seem to be the ones with the money

if you're a 3d artist and want to make money, i would suggest moving to LA and connect with the entertainment industry.
You could ask the guys at www.cgarchitect.com They are very knowledgeable and most are full-time 3d artists.

its a more industry wide website with a massive amount of members.
