Forgive me if this is a previous post. Is there a rule of thumb for the following:
Family Friend wants me to do consultant work for a store. Work involves concept development, illustrating plans/renders for a business proposal, and gathering a database of materials, fixtures and furnishings. I already outlined that with my full time job- i won't be able to coordinate construction.
How much should i charge - hourly or by deliverables ?
The client is a bit difficult - and i can tell won't be a bundle of joy to work for so i don't want to skimp myself the fee - and i need the money.
Have 2 years prof. exper. Masters of Arch., and 6 yrs. intern experience.
