building in new orleans

silverlake

I've been given the opportunity do a couple some work in New Orleans on two duplexes that need to be redesigned and rebuilt somewhat quickly.

anyone know what the permitting process will be like? is the city going to be really backed up?

would it be easier for him to get a local architect to speed up the process (even though he knows me and wants me to do them)?

I would love to help out, but I don't known if its best for him to fly in an out of state architect in this situation.

any advice would be much appreciated...

still not right..

I have done several projects in and around NO from here in Los Angeles. Each project I only worked through DD, then handed it over to a local firm for CD's and permitting. It worked much better that way...
