I would like to ask what is the difference between a site and building permit, and what type of drawings are required for each. I've work in an architecture firm for 2 years as a junior architect, but have always found it difficult to differentiate between a SD and DD, and DD and CD set of drawings. Can someone briefly describe what's what, and even provide online examples if available? and which set of drawings is used for submittal for which type of site/building permit? i realize this is a lot to ask, but thank you for any explanations you can offer.
