Ralph Nelson, of LOOM 'fame' was a visiting prof of mine at UC. From what i've been able to gather he and his wife/design partner have since parted ways which could/should mean LOOM is defunct.

Chainlink is fundamentally not a decorative material. If you want to use it in a decorative way, then it's on you as a designer to make it happen (cf Gerhy in the early 80s)  - you are very unlikely to find an off-the-shelf system of decorative chainlink.
