Saw the preview for this... did anyone else grow up with those books? i loved 'em as a kid. shame, though, it looks like its been made as just another harry potter spinoff. and its disney. ugh.
The only thing I really remember from that series was one part in wihch they were on a boat and sailed to "the place where dreams come true". Everyone was getting happy about seeing their fantasies come to life when a guy stuck on a raft said "No, you don't understand - not the place where daydreams come true, but your actual dreams come true."
That scared the shit out of me as a kid. I had and still have scary-ass dreams.

that set of books is so dear to me, someday ill get the deluxe edition on wheels.
