i think joed just tried this one in the rendering thread, and no one really had any experience of it.

it's cool for npr renderings, but that's it. The Z Depth feature is great. If you want all of your renderings to look like watercolors or other natural media, it's great. That's all it's good for, though.

You have to model in another app, too, so it's really a post tool.

Never used it though, just read a lot about it and worked with someone that did. It takes a little time to learn, but results can look very nice.

this is one of the best post production renders on 3D models. like most CAD it benefits from investing time to learn the techniques that work for you. it's quite good for fudging 3D model stills without the need to employ an Architectural Illustrator (old skool)
