I'm not in LA but i found that just working through the official book was perfect- and usually i really hat doin that- but it really goes through it well- but up to you. It might be cheaper too.

i'm pretty sure "architect's toolbox" has classes there, check formz website and look under training (maybe called training/support).
sessions.edu has online FormZ classes
