Your Fav. Writing Instrument?

UrbanDesign

So to continue the materialistic poll posts (i.e fashion, cars, etc.) I thought I'd poll architects favorite writing instruments. It seems like an important part of our careers, so lets discuss. Is it your Alvin .5, or is it your Mont Blanc? Or perhaps your handy dandy yellow #2. Also, why? I mean what is really important to you? Is it the comfort or the look or how it writes? Just have fun with it....

I have a collection of Parker 51's from the 1940's. I use Pelikan 4001 ink (the blackest). I use them for sketching and writing. When I sketch with a pencil I use a Woerther Shorty..

Pilot V7 or V5 (whichever is in my bag) or the Pilot Razor Point for pens, and for pencil sketching I try to use a softer lead (in contrast to the sharp work the pen produces).

Waterman fountain pen, black ink from Mont Blanc. For markups, etc., I use a red Uniball VISION fine point because I can't find red ink locally for a fountain pen.

my tasty new fountain pen by lamy...it's thin, silver and heavy.

i used to have a rotring that was charcoal grey and surprisingly heavy for it's size. it drew great lines.

I don't buy pens anymore-I just collect free ball point pens to sketch with. That way I dont' feel too bad when one of them gets lost-although I have become attached to the Uniphyl Theophylline pen I snatched from my doctors office.

Faber Castel, Vision 1475. I bought it at Carrefour in Korea. Best damn pen ever. Unfortunately Faber Castel does not sell them anywhere in the US.

If anyone knows where I can find these, I'd appreciate the help.
