Alternative to Morpholio Trace

OddArchitect

For Christmas Santa brought me a nice illustration tablet for my PC.  (Huion Kamvas Pro 27).

I'm looking for a PC version of a program similar to Morpholio Trace. I'd be using the tablet for various sketching, tracing, presentation, ect.  Basically anything you could do with a roll of trace and markers.

Anyone here have any recommendations?

I’ve had sketchbook installed on my phone ever since my first smart phone. Works great on site when you want to take a pic and markup a quick detail.

Do you use the middle finger to sketch?

I've wondered how a pen display might be for redlining CDs...let me know if you give it a try.

I'm going to try it. I suspect that programs like Bluebeam could create huge files if you use the pen function.

Right now I'm still trying to setup the system. It's not a tablet but a pen display so it needs a computer to operate. I'm currently trying to set it up so that it will function as a second screen where I can use the stylus to manipulate things. Ideally I'd like to have two programs running a the same time, one on each screen.

RE Bluebeam: I haven't found it to be the case that the files sizes get huge when I use a pen.

The only real drawback I've seen of using Sketchbook Pro is that it saves files natively as either PSD or TIFF, and those get really huge if you're not careful.

Hey Odd, do you sniff your tablet like you sniff your markers?

Naw. It would be cool if the stylus had that marker or graphite smell though. Are you still lying about being an architect in NYC?

Microsoft paint is an alterante software for you. You can draw pretty little pictures with it and call it a sketch. Then guys like me take that use it as crumbled piece of paper to start our backyard bon fires with it after we build real projects in the real world.

Oh benny - I think you protest too much. Let's see some of your real world projects. If you like I can post up some of mine if you like . . .

Hey Oddy, I can see you posted something but since I ignored you and dont see what you wrote, I will just assume its something Kareny as usual. Have a nice life.

I know you say you can't read this however I doubt it. Based on your comments thus far you're looking for attention. Good luck with that.

Odd, keep us up to date.  I would love to hear how you're using this after a few months when the newness wears off.  would this primarily be for schematic design iterations, or replace marker board in project management or other things?  i also have sketchbook pro and would recommend, though i can't really use it on my phone with my finger.
