Am I reading this right? In most of the CC-x-x (commercial w/ no residential use) zones in San Diego which in the TPA (yellow area) you dont need parking, whether development or existing?
though i hadn't looked at SD's SDMC anytime recently, this does not surprise me
a bunch of jurisdictions are removing minimum parking requirements
looks like City of SD is on board too

I was in the middle of doing a required parking count and stumbled across this. Pretty impressed they managed to push this through for such a large swath of the city

I believe this is the work of AB 2097. State bill eliminating parking minimums near transit.
We had a traffic consultant wax poetic about parking capacity on a kickoff meeting recently and the land use attorney shut it down pretty hard.
