Wood Guy here, trying a name change. My friend Jamie Wolf owns a highish-end, high-performance design/build firm in Avon, CT. He is backing away from day to day duties and is looking for an architect to fill his shoes. He is a warm, charismatic, brilliant and articulate person and would be a great mentor for an architect ready for a significant leadership role in a firm doing good work.
It really is! Jamie, the principal, is one of the founding facilitators of this triple bottom line peer networking group I'm involved with: https://nesea.org/buildingenergy-bottom-lines.
Are there any details? What kind of person are they looking for, what work experience and what are the requirements for the applicant?

The link in the ad has a pretty thorough description: https://www.homesthatfit.com/be-our-architect/. The principal, Jamie, is not an architect but has equivalent skills and experience. He is much too people-oriented to rely on something as mundane as years of experience to determine value for the firm.

Why the change to your nom de bois? Did the groupies find out your address? ;O]
Haha, nope, just feeling like a change. But you've given me an idea...
been lurking on this post too often and imagining a move to colder weather... sounds like a great opportunity

If I lived out that way I'd be all over this. I wouldn't get the position but a person can dream . . .
Same. I'm too happy in my locale, though.
corps de bois.... I like the name but don't get it confused with gueulle de bois. 2 different things.
Stop speaking Canadian . . .
My day started with one of those, a rare occurrence.
Could be corsé
Thanks, Non. I had to look that up on Canoogle (the Canadian Google).
