A business graphic logo vs just a name.

I like simple things, but kinda want a logo. Last time I attempted making one I went down an ocd logo rabbit hole and emerged logoless

business name as graphic logo? Change business name if necessary (not really).

Even if it's just type, it should read as a logo. Brand is important. Typology is important.

Yeah, as of now it’s just white
type. My last name is a good name, but ethnic and hard to pronounce for most people.

I love that scene from American Psycho. Most people probably don't get it... but we do.

So... I was not going to bring out the big guns... but here we are.

Probably the best logo & name ever in the history of everything.

Reminds me of this, which I put on the backside of "business" cards to hand out at school job fairs.

Whatever you do—logo or no logo–just don't try to make your own logo, seriously don't. Hire a professional if necessary.

A lot of really great firms only use "only" their name, but it's designed. The typography is custom and IS a logo. Unless you will be changing the font of your firms name on every correspondence.. then it's a brand (logo).

I hired a pro, never regretted it, my logo is subtle, but sweet.

Now I want to see it! Or at least get the name of your pro.

I think that's part of the reason that version was retired several years ago. The new one is similar, but the eagle is always in a red, black, or white square, the column is shorter, and the font has changed.

Where did you copy that from? Our chapter's executive director gets an email rebuke from the Committee for the Logo's Ongoing Tweakage (CLOT) anytime the chapter slips up and uses old branding.

I have a logotype but not a logomark. I've been planning to do some rebranding and will probably include a new logomark, though I don't think it's important for a one-man show like me.

If anyone is on the EntreArchitect Facebook group, they just had a thread on logos--it was interesting to see how many good ones are out there, and how many architects are bad at designing their own (yet still proud of them).
