What is this?

Trying to search some styles but have no idea what this is called. Looking for a word I could put into Google images and come up with accurate pictures. Best description would be a wall offset sort of. A part of a wall or window that goes further out than the base of the wall. Defer to my crappy sketch. Not just needing this for a window, but also to open up a wall with a few extra inches.

Bay window, bow window, oriel window, or just plain bump-out...

Here's an article on this topic that I wrote a while ago: https://www.finehomebuilding.com/2013/05/16/bay-windows-that-belong.

I won't defer to your sketch, but will refer to it.  (And while it's rough, it's fine, not crappy.)

Any of Wood Guy's terms will work.

Thanks! This has been bugging me for a while. Trying to build a tiny house and I wasn't sure how to frame this but couldn't search for it either.

Frame the floor an extension to the general building footprint. then add knee braces below to attach sheathing or nailers. The roof is kind of self-explanatory.
