What are the iron brackets shown on the exterior?
Pulley on swingarm, used to hoist materials.
Yup! Also back in yet olden days they where used to move furniture between floors because the stairs and hallways where too narrow to do so.
Everything in that view is gorgeous (save the fixed, nearly jamb-less single-lite windows).
Just that friggin' downspout and conductor head make me feel warm inside. That swingarm bracket is beautiful icing on the masonry cake.
