"WeWork said on Thursday that it was laying off 2,400 employees around the world, weeks after huge losses at the co-working company brought it close to financial collapse ...Nov 21, 2019" New York Times
That article about his networth dropping to $500 million (pauper status) was written before his golden parachute was announced. Current articles show that the amount he gets could balloon from 1.7 billion to 2 billion.
The Oceanos was a cruise ship built in Italy (which accounts for its pleasing appearance?) and operated by a Greek company. After it started sinking off of South Africa the captain and crew were the first off in the lifeboats (like Adam Neumann). The passengers organized and got some passengers off in lifeboats before the list became too great. South African Air Force helicopters arrived on scene and took the remaining passengers off in shuttle runs to shore. Amazingly no loss of life among the 500 or so people on board occured - so you can watch guilt free.
