The OP wants a 5-bedroom, 4-bathroom house in 1200 square feet. But doesn't want the bathrooms to be awkward. And wants a large bed to fit in every room - even though it appears there's little hope of getting a large bed up the stairs in the first place. This is an example of a project that should never have made it past early design phases, unless the parameters changed (fewer baths? larger footprint?) This isn't a matter of changing doors from 7'-0" to 6'-8" and crossing out some extraneous garage details. Major re-design is in order.

Longtime lurker here, but this thread is particularly interesting to me because I arrived here after searching the forum for advice on contracting with a freelance temporary drafter/designer.
Does anyone have a sample contract they use for hiring temporary outside help? I am about to hire someone for a few months to assist in creating a CD set. Seems like a good guy, and we both agreed to signing a simple contract. We agreed on terms, just need to execute a signed agreement listing it all out. I just don't want to get screwed over so any advice or samples would be appreciated.
Thank you.

You should start a new thread for that. It's really got nothing to do with the subject of this old one.
Trouble with unreasonable novice - what are my options?

Bumping this up again for selfish reasons...
