Hi, I have been perplexed by this floor construction method. What is the keystone plate it is referring to? It seems like a concrete slab on steel deck to me.
I believe the keystone plate is for the suspended ceiling and or support of insulation.
"keystone plate" appears to be corrugated metal base for mud. this is a shower
Agree; corrugated metal decking for “concrete”. However, Document indicates “balcony” instead of ‘shower’. MDWed
Duh. Gotta pay more attention to the specs.
Why is the dropped ceiling below sloped, but the shower or deck (exposure to water either way) is flat? I can barely read this thing.
