Hello, you don’t get to assign certain files to certain courses or programs in the new uni assist portal.

However you can upload all the files u want through the pull down menu under my application in documents.

Hey, did you include the cover of your portfolio in the 8 pages? Or is it the nineth?

I e-mailed them and they told me I get to include one page cover and one page for content with a maximum of 10 pages front only.

Turns out that portfolio is not looking mandatory for the application and before I upload my portfolio to uni assist system they forwarded my application to the school. I sent my documents by post beforehand to make sure they arrive on time but they went earlier than I expected and accidently my application is done without my portfolio and other additional documents. I don't understand how uni assist pick the online documents for each application but turns out they pick the documents from the pool we put our documents to. Make sure you upload everything carefully.

Hi, for the 2020/2021 winter semester is clearly stated on the website of the M-ARCH-T that the hard copy to send by post is not needed due to the sanitary emergency.

Thus, the application documents don’t have to be submitted as hard copies but only in electronic form as PDF files. The required application documents are a ll to be submitted as PDF files by the application deadline. Any required document (including the language certificate) that is submitted after the end of the application period can unfortunately not be considered.

I think that since the deadline has been postponed to june 15th, also the mails with any further informations will arrive later... But I'm not sure about it!

No idea about the UK....but I think in Europe it would be okay.... considering that you aren't from Europe if you are not registered after a bachelors, for example to practice in Spain you might have to be very familiar with the langauge and work culture there. Thus it's better to study where you intend to practice. Just a thought.

The deadline is at 12pm. That was mentioned in the 'unanswered questions section' in Uni assist website. I think it is safer to upload by morning.

Hey, did you receive any notification that the application was forwarded to TU Berlin or not?

I didn't receive any confirmation. If I log into my Uni Assist portal, it only says "in evaluation". I thought I'd get an email, but nothing. What about you?

Yep, felt the same. I guess as the course is new, they are trying to push deadlines so as to get a certain standard 'quality' in their applications and not quantity. It is not first come first serve basis, and they've just had the open house and discussions online so it is like they don't think that the contents and ideas of the program were shown as well as they could...just some thoughts.

I think if uni assist received it by the deadline you should be fine, even if they are still evaluating it. Once they are done you will probably get an email from TU, I would say like a week or two after uni assist approved it.

For people who had applied in the last minute, has your status been updated to 'Okay' in Uni assist?

Yes, it has been updated.

N is fine, I have it too, nothing will change until September 8th, that’s when they will email people with the interview dates if you got to the next round. What it says on your TU berlin page is that “N” and any other letter is fine and only “Y” means you got accepted. But it doesn’t really matter cause they will also email you. So we shouldn’t be anxious guys! It will all work out:)

I would say no, especially if they already forwarded you application to TU it means if you want to provide some extra documents you will have to email TU directly and it has to be before the deadline.

It’s all personal, they may decide however they want, which sucks. Did you finish any english taught university or school or are you from any country which main language is English?

If you applied before the deadline was extended and the requirements were changed, I think they might consider. Meanwhile you can write to the admission coordinator explaining your case.

No, the course website says emails to those who are selected will be out on 8th september..

This means that Uni assist has evaluated the previous study certificates according to German entrance qualifications and has forwarded the application to the university.

I emailed TU and they assured me all applications are being handled. Uni-assist were striking so they're taking a bit longer.

In the letter of motivation you explained the purpose that you choose study architecture and this master at TUberlin

The pdf that they sent people that have been invited to the interviews contained 96 application numbers so yea. Does anyone understand why they had some days with two people and others with one? I hope it doesn’t mean two people are interviewed at the same time, hopefully it’s two separate interviews... Don’t wanna compete with anyone.

I had just received a general email from TU saying only those who have a grade average of 1.7 or above are invited this year. Probably the portfolio or motivation letter isn't taken into consideration for the interview opportunity.

Here is what they told me in the email: "We will inform all applicants on the 8th September if they (and when) get invited for the interviews. The Final decissions will be at the end of september/beginn of october. Because we know, that this is difficult (especially for international students) all courses taught in presence will have a digital back-up, so that you can participate digital until you're here."

I think so, they told they will announce the results within 2 weeks. About how it's going to be announced, I'm guessing by email since we're supposed to accept the offer by clicking on some link which they are going to provide us in case we get accepted.
However this is a second hand information so i think we just need to sit tight and wait

Have you received an admission e-mail per se? I've only got some e-mails with my ID and some instructions on how to log into the university portal - which works fine, but still, there's no official offer and I'm not able to accept / reject anything

If you got the email with instructions for further enrollment, it means you have been accepted (my opinion). If you check the QIZUL website thing, you will probably have a "J".

Yes, it's a J with a date (23-09) so I guess its allright. My main concern is probably the waiting list - with the admission process going on so late this year and a limited number of students it feels weird that I can't confirm I'm still interested in the program - earlier comments on the forum seem to imply that in previous years, accepting the offer was the first step towards enrollment.

Idk, I didn't try to register at all. But in the email they ask us to register with our TUB ID, and also to pay the tuition fees as soon as possible. In my opinion that seem s like you've already been admitted. But for further questions maybe send them an email?

No worries! I have no idea about the waiting list or the deadline tbh, but since I won't go there, there should be a free spot now. Plus, there could be other students in the same situation as me... I emailed them earlier that I won't proceed with the enrollment.

I guess waiting for the 7th October is a way TUB may check the number of enrollments and then invite other candidates as the free spots appear. I'm not sure whether there's anything that could happen before that date. The process is really confusing tbh, hope You receive some more detailed answer. this year I think they selected applicants with a GPA that went from 1 ( which is the maximum) to 1.7 as I know, but it changes every year I guess.
