The results are in. We asked every marginalized group in America what the most pressing architectural issues are to them. Here some of the responses.
"Too much caulk. Work with better contractors!"
"Id like better daylighting and proper solar orientation, how about that?"
"Like, houses that are modern and sustainable under 500k..ohh and yeah and less friggin caulk please."
"Quality materials, buildings that will not be trash in 30 years"
"I want all architects to formally appologize for popcorn ceilings and sign a pact to never do it again."
"Get high VOC materials out of homes and schools!"
"Windows, operable windows everywhere"
"Good ventilation, sustainable, less caulk."
"Better parks gardens and landscapes for low income families"
"What ever happened to 2-family houses? I want more options for big extended families like mine"
As suspected, marginalized groups want better architecture. So put down the vagina x-mas balls and pick up a t-square!
A tsquare is rather phallic... which does not go well with the too much caulk sentiment.
Hopefully those eloquent commentaries were heard by developers, too.
