Dark cloud 2 is really interesting I think, because we can plan the layout of each village, and learn to construct building materials through synthesizing basic substances by our own. Also Tenchu 2 can create our own stage :)
any games with absurd worlds and great narratives will fit, meaning anything without the cruel architecture of today. (Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City would be a good start)
Any particular console games that has interesting architectures in it?
The title said it all :)
I've always been fond of the Aztec temple from golden eye
Those formation of columns, with narrow intercolumniations, use Doric order I suppose..
I would like to chill myself a bit just right beside that interesting religious looking pond :)
If you're looking for historical architecture, assassin's creed is pretty good. I mean they got an architectural consultant in for the job.
Won't delve too much into sci-fi. It's ubiquitous.
Bioshock, an interesting exploration of Ayn Rand too.
Bioshock Infinite
The Assassin's Creed series.
Halo. Doom. Half life. Zelda. Metroid.
Pokemon
monument valley is pretty amazing - not console game tho.
