I was interested in designing a Public Architectural Structure and was greatly influenced by the Vidhan Bhavan Bhopal by Ar. Charles Correa . So i was planning on taking it as my Thesis Topic. But i wanted to know whether i can take a site in a state which already has a Vidhan Bhavan, or i can redevelop an existing structure.
Please help me in choosing a site for my topic. Earlier i choose to do a thesis on parliament house but the scale is too large to handle, so i scaled it down so that the context would be clear and i can be able to include the cultural factors into design.
Iwas interested to take up in the state of Maharashtra, but maharashtra already has a Vidhan Bhavan in Mumbai.
