White House and Department of Labor released the new FLSA overtime exemption rules for white collar workers. Effective on December 1, 2016 the majority of salaried employees earning up to $47,476 a year must receive time-and-a-half overtime pay when they work more than 40 hours a week.
I'm sure it will impact some offices, but a lot of the worse ones will keep on going the same way and either go with contract employment, or just discourage their employees from recording overtime hours.
