Does anyone know of a book or website that shows commercial floor plans, similar to websites and books for home floor plans? I am trying to find floor plans for hotels, retail, government buildings, etc.
recreational vehicle for life. you can always try google, your public library, or contacting an architect in your area. members on this forum are not going to help much and you will most likely receive some negative feedback.
Certainly not trying to rip off architects. Just trying to get some creative juice flowing once I actually hire an architect and meet with them

rv4life,
STOP! Go to places, take photos. STOP ATTEMPTING to marry yourself to a set of plans. Respectable Architects are not going to make modifications and stamping other people's work.
Let the architect design. It's a lot of headache for architects to have to divorce a client from a bad design idea that doesn't work for the client's project program that the client wants.
It's like asking someone build a car on a Ford Mustang's frame and body but they need the vehicle to carry a passenger capacity of 40+. It just isn't going to work.
