You could end up near 1,000$/sqft for decent hospital building in Cali.

In patient rehab facility so kind of in between. I'm seeing numbers at over 350$ square foot which seems high but could just be the result of California location. My location in Texas I wouldn't expect over 200$.

Can the patients evacuate themselves in the event of an emergency or are they incapable of self preservation?

They can evacuate. No med gas but controlled access. Pa, nurse call ect
Similar set up as a small hospital but none of the high dollar systems or finish requirements

Part of the problem in Nor Cal, is that available labor is thin, we are still getting crazy bids all over the map, I think the Apple campus and the other huge projects from San Jose to SF have all the trades locked up for many months to come.
