I work as an Architectural Technician for a building consultancy company and my boss has suggested that I undertake some kind of professional development through a construction-related institution.
I have a strong interest in the field of sustainability / environmentally friendly buildings so I would ideally like to progress my skills within this area of expertise. What I am asking is whether there is an ideal professional body (like CIAT, CIOB etc.) and/or career path that I should look to progress through in order to realise my ambitions. I've had a look online and didn't find a fantastic amount to help me.
I have a degree in Architectural Technology should that be relevant. Just really looking for some advice.
