Does anyone out there have any proffesional practice methods they've found work well for remodels and renovations? It is becomming our the bulk of my work. Do you perfer to be more involved at a conceptual level and let uncovered field conditions shape the fianl design? I know its at odds with the whole owners' advocate thing but a lot of owners simply balance good design against cost, as is there right. Our approach is simple- we are the builders and designers so we are always in control - how do others without this arrangement fair? Is the process timely?
