explode

is it a 2-d or 3-d block?

double clicking on the 2-d blocks does it for me. I explode the 3-d ones.

if you don't know where the oiginal block .dwg file is, or don't have it, then explode the block, edit it, and wblock it to redfine it in the drawing.

I've always just exploded it, edited it, then cut and paste as block and there ya go.......
