project description
The Video-Graphic Building is a linear structure intersecting itself in several points. The characteristic of this building is to change its appearance according to the succession of video projections and graphics.
The semitransparent and translucent surfaces are visually perceived on a time-space dimension, on a continuous state of mutation through the sequence of the images.
The wall structure is a simple composition of linear and curved plastic panels, reflecting and filtering light and images at the same time.
Video projectors are placed inside and outside the building in order to provide the sequence of the images.
An alternative use of technology related to image purposes is proposed as the main character of the building and its environment.
The building is conceived as a structure in between a real architecture and an installation, the aim is to investigate a technological possibility related to architecture through a formal and spatial and perceptive suggestion.
This project is conceived and developed as an arcgitectural ‘paradox,’ as it is a result of a unique idea persecuted till the end and without further contaminations.
Status: Unbuilt
