Having outgrown their space both physically and culturally, this Financial Services Firm sought to modernize their office environment to support evolving work styles and an increased headcount. The design team's solution allows for serendipitous interaction, while being flexible and efficient.
In a light-filled reception area, the desk design echoes the lines of the building’s signature exterior cross-bracing, while large switch-lite sliding glass doors allow for varying degrees of privacy. With the doors fully open, the combined space accommodates large social functions further supported by an adjacent coffee bar and catering area.
The workspace was designed to promote spontaneous interactions, with features like a café and library providing additional choices in work settings. The entire finance team is located on a single floor, creating a sense of community and increased collaboration. With a timeless palette and built-in flexibility, the transformed space effectively supports current and future workstyles.
