East Williamsburg is one of the trendiest up-and-coming neighborhoods in Brooklyn, NYC. EDA's concept for this new apartment building focuses on realizing something that connects with the inhabitants of the area: uncommon, surprising, with strong ties to the area and its legacy.

The use of bricks for the facade recalls the older buildings in the area, while the use of shifting shapes and bold, bright colors signifies the new direction towards which the neighborhood is heading.

On the inside, a series of studios, and one and two-bedroom apartments are developed so as to create a varied community.
