The "Sansong Puyu" Building, designed by LYCS Architecture for Fujian Sansong Group, has been completed. This project is located in the core area of the Binjiang Belt in Fuzhou High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, offering expansive views of the beautiful Wulong River. With a total building area of 66,642.84 square meters, it provides comprehensive facilities, including office and commercial spaces.

Fuzhou High-Tech Industrial Development Zone is one of China's first national high-tech zones. Since its development in 1991, it has attracted more than 7,000 enterprises across various high-tech fields, including artificial intelligence, biomedical technology, and electronic information. The rows of office buildings along the Wulong River create a magnificent modern urban landscape. The core challenge of the design was to stand out among the many riverside buildings while preserving the scenic city river views.

**Appreciating the Scenery**

Given that building regulations limited the height to 80 meters and the width to 65 meters, the design divided and reshaped nearly 50,000 square meters of building mass into two independent high-rise towers connected by a circular podium at the base.

The towers are designed in a blunt L-shape on the plan, maximizing the use of the scenery and seamlessly integrating the natural beauty into the building. The two twisted gable towers are staggered along the river on the north and south sides of the site to avoid blocking each other’s views. A transparent landscape corridor is reserved in the center of the towers, facing the Wulong River, creating an uninterrupted dialogue between the building and nature.

**Becoming the Scenery**

The design draws inspiration from the dynamic beauty of the Wulong River, giving the building a simple, clear yet highly dynamic overall image. The rippling water patterns on the river's surface were extracted and transformed into linear elements that wrap around the building, forming a natural transition between the urban environment and the riverscape.

The pure gray curtain wall and delicate white lines create a structured texture on the building’s façade. The soft building chamfers outlined by white aluminum panels leave a sculptural, clean, and sharp profile against the complex urban backdrop.

The vertical lines extending on the gable walls draw the eye upward, enhancing the building's tall and elegant visual effect. At the same time, these lines effectively conceal ventilation ducts, smoke exhaust pipes, and mechanical rooms, seamlessly blending functionality with aesthetics.

In shaping the building, the design team paid special attention to standardizing the dimensions of the tower corners. This approach promoted the standardized production of aluminum components, ensuring an efficient construction process and enhancing the building's economic and environmental sustainability.

**Embracing Nature**

The circular elevated podium enhances the flexibility and iconic image of the "Sansong Puyu" Building. This continuous structure creates a multifunctional open space on the third floor, suitable for receptions, offices, commercial use, and exhibitions. Additionally, it forms the main entrance space on the first floor, as well as the vehicular entry and pedestrian walkways.

The circular design also creates a tranquil, inward-facing courtyard for the park, seamlessly integrating with the riverside green spaces. The carefully designed courtyard landscape and walkways enhance the building’s connectivity and sense of community, providing an ideal place for relaxation and interaction for its users.

**Conclusion**

In the rapidly developing new city of Fuzhou, the "Sansong Puyu" Building stands as a pure modern sculpture along the Wulong River. Its design is both simple and refined, presenting a unique charm of dynamic tranquility and harmonious integration of the interior and exterior. It has become a striking landmark in the Binjiang area of the High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, symbolizing the perfect fusion of modern architectural design with the natural environment.

由LYCS建筑事务所为福建三松集团设计的“三松普育”大厦已经落成。该项目位于福州市高新技术产业开发区滨江带核心区，享有美丽的乌隆江广阔景色。总建筑面积66642.84平方米，提供全面的设施，包括办公和商业设施。

福州高新技术产业开发区是中国首批国家级高新区之一。自1991年发展以来，已吸引了7000多家企业，横跨人工智能、生物医药技术、电子信息等多个高科技领域。乌隆江沿岸一排排的写字楼，营造出壮丽的现代城市景观。设计的核心挑战是在众多河滨建筑中脱颖而出，同时又不破坏风景秀丽的城市河景。

欣赏风景

考虑到建筑法规将高度限制在80米，宽度限制在65米，设计将近50,000平方米的建筑体量分割并重塑为两个独立的高层塔楼和底部的圆形连接裙楼。

塔楼在平面图中被设计成钝的L形结构，以最大限度地利用风景，将自然美景无缝地融入建筑中。两座扭曲的山墙塔楼在场地南北两侧沿河交错分布，以避免相互阻挡视线。塔楼中央预留通透的景观廊道，面向五龙江，营造出建筑与自然之间不间断的对话。

成为风景

该设计的灵感来自乌龙江的动态美景，为建筑赋予了简单、清晰但高度动态的整体形象。河面上涟漪般的水纹被提取出来，转化为线性元素，环绕着建筑，在城市环境和河景之间形成自然的过渡。

纯灰色的幕墙和精致的白色线条，在建筑的立面上营造出结构化的质感。柔软的建筑倒角由白色铝板勾勒出轮廓，在复杂的城市背景下留下雕塑般的、干净的、锐利的轮廓。

山墙墙上垂直延伸的线条将视线向上吸引，增强了建筑高大典雅的视觉效果。同时，这些线路有效地隐藏了通风管道、排烟管和机房，将功能与美学无缝融合。

在塑造建筑时，设计团队特别注意统一塔楼角落的尺寸。这种方法促进了铝构件的标准化生产，确保了高效的施工过程，并增强了建筑的经济和环境可持续性。

拥抱自然

圆形的高架裙楼增强了“三松普育”大楼的灵活性和标志性形象。这种连续的结构在三楼创造了一个多功能的开放空间，适用于接待、办公、商业和展览用途。此外，它还形成了一楼的主入口空间、车辆入口和人行道。

环形设计还为公园创造了一个宁静的、朝内的庭院，与河滨绿地无缝融合。精心设计的庭院景观和人行道增强了建筑的连通性和社区感，为使用者提供了一个理想的放松和互动场所。
