Designed in 2003, MAD planned and designed a dining hall known as The Cantina at The Santa Fe Opera in New Mexico. An 8,000sf area accommodates a new kitchen and a covered seating area designated for approximately 200 people. Special attention to the surrounding desert landscape and existing buildings influenced the design of the tensile structure.
