The relocation of the Steinhardt Administration and Finance offices to a full floor NOHO loft, offered an opportunity to integrate both private and collaborative meeting spaces. A sculpted, floating ceiling element unifies the space while the open loft volume breathes within the circulation and common areas. Re-purposing of existing materials was an important aspect of the project from a budgetary outlook, as well as environmentally responsible design.
