BuckleyGrayYeoman have completed Phase I of the Channing School redevelopment project in Highgate, London. The 1645 sq m project provides new sports facilities and sixth form accommodation in modern brick-built buildings that overlook north London from the school’s campus at the top of Highgate Hill. The designs for the leading independent day school will add three new buildings to the school’s estate whilst remaining sensitive to, and building upon, its rich architectural and educational heritage. Phase II is to follow in Autumn 2016 which will add a new performing arts building with a 300 capacity semi-professional theatre.
