This installation was created to explore generic systems that can be mass produced and still provide spatial experiences by utilizing light and shadow. The entire composition consists of five ounce plastic cups. To create the form, concave and convex units were created and assembled into approximately five foot sections. After the sections were hung, more cups were added to connect the units. The structure of the installation is in tension and is suspended from the beams of the studio that it is located. The entire composition spans fifteen feet in width and thirty feet in length.
