Sarasota Memorial Hospital (SMH) has been serving Sarasota and Manatee counties since the early 1960’s. As the hospital grew, its capacity for staffing offices did not. With the addition of the Medical Arts building, SMH allowed for on-campus doctors’ offices, and gave back valuable space from within the walls of the Level II trauma hospital. A new aluminum enclosed bridge was also designed to connect to the existing parking garage.
